1. What is mixing?
Mixing in the game refers to the musical compositions you create while playing.
2. Can I record my mixes?
Yes! Click the "Record" button to start recording your mix immediately. All your actions (adding sounds, deleting sounds, muting, soloing, triggering rewards, etc.) will be recorded. You have approximately 3 minutes to express yourself as a musician/composer! After recording, you must fill out the save form. After this step, your mix can be shared!
From the paid application, you can also choose:
(1) Save your mix locally in your mix list.
(2) Set it as public/private.
(3) Export it as an audio file (MP3).
3. Can I share my mixes?
Yes! Once you fill out the save form, your mix can be shared. Once saved above, we will provide a unique URL for it. You can share this URL via email, social networks, or any way you choose. Clicking on your link will redirect people to incredibox.com, where they can watch and listen to your mix through our embedded player on the website. 4. What is the Top 50?
The Top 50 chart ranks based on the number of votes each combination receives. You can watch and listen to mixes created by the global community in order to enjoy each user's music creativity and gain inspiration.
5. What are the rules for participating?
When you save a public mix, it appears in the Live tab of the playlist. In addition, it will automatically compete for the Top 50. This is a global competition. Every vote you get in your mix will be saved on our server. It's easy to be one of the Top 50 - just get as many votes as possible from other users. To increase your chances, you can share the link/URL of your combination with all your friends!
6. Why are all the characters in Incredibox male?
Incredibox has only one character, repeated 7 times on stage. This black and white character (also our logo) is a boy purely because: this is Paul's cartoon, the sound behind the Incredibox project!
All the sounds you hear in Incredibox come from one unique person: Paul (aka Incredible Polo). This singularity (one-man band) led us to the gameplay of Incredibox. Our game concept is based on the fact that a unique character can play different sound loops depending on what he wears.
7. I can't find my mix!
Mixes created using our free demo are kept online for about 6 months. Mixes created using the paid application are online until you decide to delete them yourself through your application. Please remember that we will delete all mixes that use inappropriate words (DJ names, titles, or dedications) without warning you. You can try using this form to find your combination.
8. I purchased the game for my Android device. Can I play it on iOS or OSX? (and vice versa)
