Contra Single Player Green Version Game Strategy

1. 30 Lives: Enter the password on the title screen: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, B, A. Then choose P1 or 2P to play and press START to start the game with 30 lives.

2. Stage Select: On the title screen, choose P1 or 2P, press START, then hold P1 Up, Left, SELECT, and A keys until the stage select screen appears. Choose the desired stage and press Start to begin.

3. Sound Test: On the title screen, hold P1 A and B keys, then press START.

4. Hidden Message: During the ending scroll, hold SELECT and START to reveal a hidden eerie message.

5. Hidden Stage: In the latter part of Stage 7, a rail car appears. Sometimes enemies attack from the rail car. Jump over them and shoot three times into the air without hitting any targets. Eventually, a crab will come charging from the left. Jump onto its back to enter the underwater stage.
